Root & Ritual was created from a personal journey. One rooted in the need for restoration, consistency and care that supports both the scalp and the strand. I have tried countless products that changed formulas or delivered inconsistent results. Especially during a time when I was experiencing hormonal hair changes and damage.

One unexpected moment while eating a salad in Northwest Washington, D.C. sparked my curiosity. The salad was filled with plant based ingredients, vibrant herbs, leafy greens and nutrient rich elements. I became fascinated by how many ingredients have long been associated with nourishment, circulation and overall vitality.

 

That moment led me to begin researching natural ways to support healthier hair and scalp wellness. What started as personal healing evolved into intentional formulas and rituals designed to help people to care for their hair with consistency.
